Allergies May Be Linked to Heart Disease
Seasonal Allergies could be a risk factor for heart disease, a new study suggests. Data on 8,600 adults found that 6 percent of the adults had heart disease, while 13 percent of those who showed Allergy symptoms had signs of heart disease. Experts point out that there is no evidence to suggest that allergies cause heart disease, but experts say that inflammation caused by allergies over the years could lead to thickening of the artery walls.
